Baraka, Duke, Sun, et al. Set for Dutchman Talkback on January 30

Playwright Amiri Baraka and director Bill Duke will participate in a post-show talkback following the January 30 performance of Baraka’s Dutchman at the Cherry Lane Theater.

Other participants will include Billie Allen, Ed Bullins, Michael Bradford, Katori Hall, Woodie King Jr., Nilija Sun, and Bridgette Wimberly.

Dutchman, which was first performed in 1964 at the Cherry Lane, concerns an encounter between an African-American man and a white woman on the subway. The current production, directed by Duke, stars Dulé Hill and Jennifer Mudge.
