Larry Keith, Michael Mulheren, and Ron Orbach head the cast of Mark St. Germain’s new play The God Committee, which will begin performances at the Lamb’s Theatre on March 11. Directed by Kevin Moriarty, the show will open officially on March 29.

The play is set in the board room of St. Patrick’s Hospital, where the transplant selection committee makes a life-or-death decision when one heart becomes available for three candidates. Also in the cast are Maha Chelhaoui, Peter Jay Fernandez, and Amy Von Nostrand. The design team includes Beowulf Borritt (sets), David Murrin (costumes), and Tyler Micoleau (lighting).

Keith has been seen on Broadway in Titanic, Caroline, or Change, and Cabaret. Mulheren received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Kiss Me, Kate and most recently appeared in the revival of La Cage aux Folles. Orbach has been seen on Broadway in Laughter on the 23rd Floor and Dance of the Vampires.

Among St. Germain’s previous plays are Camping With Henry and Tom and Ears on a Beatle. Moriarty is the artistic director of the Hangar Theater in Ithaca and an associate artist at Trinity Rep.
