Hart, Seldes, Sternhagen, Stritch, Wallach, Weaver, et al. Set for Food For Thought Series

Kitty Carlisle Hart, Marian Seldes, Frances Sternhagen, Elaine Stritch, Eli Wallach, and Fritz Weaver will all participate in the Spring 2006 season of Food For Thought. This series of lunchtime readings and cocktail events takes place at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South).

On Monday, February 27, the group will present two Arthur Miller short stories as monologues: Seldes will read “Bravers” and Wallach will read “Bulldog.”
On March 1, Sternhagen and Weaver will star in Susan Charlotte’s adaptation of Henry James’ “The Tree of Knowledge.” Other writers who will be represented this season include Eugene O’Neill, Joyce Carol Oates, and Peter Stone.

The group will also present two special musical programs this spring: one with Stritch on March 13; the other with Hart and her musical director David Lewis on April 1.
