Goodman, Lewis, Nichols, Stritch, Wright to Appear in The Public Sings

John Goodman, Norm Lewis, Mike Nichols, Elaine Stritch, and Jeffrey Wright are among the recent additions to The Public Sings, a concert of selections from musicals produced by The Public Theater, to be held on Monday, January 30 at City Center. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Public.

The concert will also feature Zach Braff, Betty Buckley, Lea DeLaria, Savion Glover, Eartha Kitt, Donna McKechnie, Idina Menzel, Donna Murphy, Cynthia Nixon, Rosie Perez, Tonya Pinkins, Billy Porter, Natalie Portman, Rosie Perez, Meryl Streep, Ben Stiller, Mary Testa, and Lillias White. It will be directed by Tony Award winner James Lapine.

Among the shows to be represented in this special event are Hair, A Chorus Line, Bring In da Noise, Bring in da Funk, Runaways, The Wild Party, and Caroline, or Change.
