Jane Adams, Neve Campbell, Peter McDonald, Matthew Modine, Maximillian Schell, and John Wood will star in the London premiere of Arthur Miller’s Resurrection Blues at the Old Vic, February 14-April 22.

The production will be directed by Robert Altman, a five-time Academy Award nominee for such films as Nashville and Gosford Park. The show’s creative team includes Tony Award winner Robin Wagner (sets) and Jenny Beavan (costumes).

The play, which was first produced at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis in 2002, is set in a South American dictatorship, where a New York-based production company arrives to film the execution of a rebel leader.

Adams received the Tony for her work in An Inspector Calls. Campbell is a well-known film actress who has starred in Scream and The Company. McDonald is a British stage actor whose credits include The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Modine’s many film credits include Birdy, Full Metal Jacket, and Short Cuts. Schell won the Academy Award for Judgment at Nuremberg. Wood received the Tony for Tom Stoppard’s Travesties and nominations for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Sherlock Holmes.
