Casting Director Howard Feuer Dies at 56
Feuer’s first Broadway credit was the 1971 production of Voices. He went on to cast such shows as Scapino, Mack & Mabel, Rockabye Hamlet, the revival of Oh! Calcutta, I Love My Wife, The Grand Tour, Barnum, 42nd Street, Noises Off, Big Deal, and Me and My Girl.
The films on which he worked include Hair, All That Jazz, Arthur, Annie, The Muppets Take Manhattan, Moonstruck, Dangerous Liaisons, Dead Poets Society, The Silence of the Lambs, Other People’s Money, Basic Instinct, Groundhog Day, Philadelphia, and The Truman Show.
Feuer is survived by his mother, his father, and a sister.
