Gavin Creel, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Kevin Cahoon will headline the first installment of Show People Magazine In Concert. The event is intended to “show audiences different sides of their favorite performers, not just focusing exclusively on their musical theater work.” It will be held on Monday, January 17 at 8pm at Irving Plaza (17 Irving Place, between 15th and 16th streets).

Creel received a Tony Award nomination for his role in Thoroughly Modern Millie and is currently appearing in the Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles. Rubin-Vega originated the role of Mimi in Rent and was seen on Broadway last season in Anna in the Tropics. Cahoon, who will perform at the concert with his band Ghetto Cowboy, has appeared on Broadway in The Rocky Horror Show and The Lion King; he is currently featured in the Off-Broadway revival of The Foreigner.

Tickets for the concert are priced at $30 and may be purchased by phoning 212-307-4100 or by clicking here.
