The National Theatre of Great Britain’s acclaimed production of Tom Stoppard’s Jumpers, directed by David Leveaux, will open for a limited 15-week engagement at Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, April 25, 2004. Preview performances will begin on April 6.

Jumpers stars Olivier Award-winners Simon Russell Beale and Essie Davis, both of whom will be making their Broadway debuts in this engagement. The cast also includes Nicky Henson (Archie) and John Rogan (Crouch) from the National Theatre run; additional casting will be announced shortly. The play is described as an outrageous comedy, a dazzling philosophical debate, and a crackling murder mystery all in one.

The production features set designs by Vicki Mortimer, costumes by Nicky Gillibrand, lighting by Paule Constable, aerial choreography by Aidan Treays, music by Corin Buckeridge, sound design by John Leonard for Aura, and video design by Dick Straker & Sven Ortel for Mesmer.
