Philip Bosco, Rosemary Harris, and Brian Murray will join together at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street) on Monday, February 9 at 8pm to pay tribute to the work of William Shakespeare in a program titled “This Wooden O.” They will perform a number of scenes and monologues from Shakespeare’s plays.

The title of the event is taken from the prologue to Henry V and refers to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. According to David Yezzi, who has coordinated the program for the Y and will narrate it, “Our selections range from direct references to the theater, such as Hamlet’s advice to the players, to more oblique instances of ‘acting’ by characters who, for various reasons, pretend to be something they are not.”

All tickets for “This Wooden O” are priced at $16; they may be purchased at the box office or by calling 212-415-5500. To purchase tickets on line, click here.
