Fittingly, the event — a benefit for the ZazAngels organization — will take place at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, located a 226 West 46th Street.

The proceedings will kick off at 6pm with a cocktail reception and a silent auction; the performance will begin at 7pm. Honorary chairpersons for the event are Alec Baldwin, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Senator Bob Kerry, and Senator Charles Schumer.

ZazAngels was formed by Emmy-winning actor Michael Zaslow, who, after being diagnosed with ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease), formed the non-profit organization in order to increase awareness of the disease and to raise money for research. Zaslow worked tirelessly on behalf of ALS sufferers until his death from the disease only a year after his diagnosis.

Tickets for the benefit are $100-$500. Phone 1-800-672-8857 or visit zazangels.com for more information.
