WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This mission of the Tennessee Williams / New Orleans Literary Festival is threefold: to serve the community through educational, theatrical, literary, and musical programs; to nurture, support, and showcase regional, national, and international writers, actors, musicians, and other artists; and to honor the creative genius of Tennessee Williams, who considered New Orleans his spiritual home. The festival includes master classes, a scholars conference, over 25 panel discussions, author interviews, and other events. The master classes are led by such celebrated writers as Patrick Maney, Roy Blount Jr., Lisa D'Amour, Amy Dickinson, Dick Cavett, Wally Lamb, Robert Olen Butler, and Rick Bragg.
