Love Letters, starring Broadway stars Beth Fowler and Philip Bosco, under the direction of Broadway director Robert Jess Roth!
Love Letters is a reading of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grow up together, go their separate ways, but continue to share confidences. Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters throughout their lives. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always poignant portrait of two star-crossed lovers.
Designed as a special benefit event for BCP to raise funds for capital improvements, these three Broadway veterans will remain afterwards for a Q&A with the audience. Included in the ticket price will be a special wine and cheese reception in our newly refurbished lounge where audience members can mingle with the artists in person!
