(© Tristan Fuge) | Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Disney's High School Musical, to run November 5-December 7. The production will be directed by Mark S. Hoebee, with choreography by Denis Jones.
The musical, which features a book by David Simpatico, adapted from the original Disney Channel movie script by Peter Barsocchini, tells the story of Troy, the captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella, an academically gifted transfer student, who audition for the leads in their school's annual musical, threatening the school's social order.
In addition to Legally Blonde star Bailey Hanks as Sharpay, the show will feature Chase Peacock (Troy), Sydney Morton (Gabriella), Logan Hart (Ryan), Donna English (Mrs. Darbus), Patrick Boll (Coach Bolton), Krystal Joy Brown (Taylor), Justin Keyes (Chad), Joseph Morales (Jack), Stephanie Pam Roberts (Kelsi), and Sean Samuels (Zeke).
The ensemble will feature Deanna Aguinaga, Adrian Arrieta, Kristy Cavanaugh, Brittany Conigatti, Beth Crandall, Charity DeLoera, Dean deLuna, Sean Ewing, Zach Frank, Taylor Frey, Marissa Joy Ganz, Spencer Kiely, Sam Kiernan, Victoria Meade, Christopher Messina, Joline Mujica, Dennis Necsary, Krista Pioppi, Jessica Rochwarger, Dante Russo, and Becca Tobin.
The creative team includes Bruce Coyle (music direction), Stephen Cowles (sets), Brian Hemesath (costumes), Tom Sturge (lighting), and Randy Hansen (sound).
