2008 MAC Award winner Jonathan Whitton and Louise Stewart will star in the 3S Theatre Collective's production of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, to run June 11-28 at the Barrow Mansion in Jersey City. The production will be directed by Marc Eardley.

The musical focuses on Hedwig, born a boy named Hansel in East Berlin, who falls in love with an American G.I. and subsequently undergoes a sex-change operation in order to marry him and flee Communist Berlin. When the operation fails leaving Hedwig with an angry inch, his G.I. husband abandons him.

The show's creative team includes Andrew J Wheeler (music direction), Stephen Dobay (sets), Laurie Marman (costumes), and Jonathan Cottle (lighting).
