SOPAC proudly presents Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer and composer Duncan Sheik for an unforgettable night of music. Sheik's career began while he gigged with other artists, but after the release of his hit single "Barely Breathing" from his eponymous debut album in 1996, Sheik catapulted to the top of the charts. His ground-breaking Broadway musical, Spring Awakening, earned eleven Tony nominations and earned critical acclaim, including The New York Times which declared that Broadway "…may never be the same."

Sheik comes to SOPAC as part of the company's commitment to bring an array of diverse and acclaimed artists to the community. This Montclair, NJ native will perform a collection of evocative songs from his latest work, Whisper House, which Sheik has composed for a forthcoming theatrical piece of the same title. The opportunity to experience a presentation of Sheik's latest musical offerings is not to be missed!
