The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's fourteenth annual Spring Gala, Brush Up Your Shakespeare X, will take place on Saturday, March 27 at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston. The evening features a unique silent auction, gourmet dinner and exciting cabaret with performers from Broadway and Hollywood.

The evening commences at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction in the Westminster's grand Victoria Hall. The auction is followed by a sumptous dinner in the Westminster's elegant ballroom. Afterwards, guests enjoy a live cabaret directed by The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's associate artistic director, Joe Discher. The eclectic mix of comedy inspired by the classics and rousing musical numbers will be highlighted by a four-piece band, conducted by Broadway musical director Jan Rosenberg, a returning Shakespeare Theatre company member.

Slated to appear are many stars of stage and screen including the Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor Edward Herrmann, Robert Cuccioli from Jekyll and Hyde and Robert LuPone from A Chorus Line. Tony Award, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-nominated director Gabriel Barre and Shakespeare Theatre audience favorites Kate Dawson, Dana Reeve, and James Michael Reilly are also scheduled to appear on the Gala stage.
