Sutton Foster Heads to Kean University for a Weekend of Concerts

The two-time Tony winner headlined the Broadway revival of ”Violet” this past season.

Two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster has scheduled two concerts for September 27 and 28 at Kean University's Enlow Recital Hall. Her bill will include numbers from the Broadway archive of classic showstoppers as well as a collection of cabaret-style ballads.

Foster recently completed her starring turn in the Broadway revival of Jeanine Tesori's musical Violet, for which she earned her sixth Tony nomination. She was previously nominated for her performances in Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Shrek The Musical, earning awards for her performances in Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2002 and Anything Goes in 2011.

The musical-theater actress was introduced to television audiences in 2012 on the ABC Family series Bunheads, which aired a total of 18 episodes. She will appear this coming fall in the new TV Land series Younger, in which she will costar alongside Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, and Miriam Shor.
