Full casting has been announced for Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Christopher Durang's Tony-winning dark comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. The play will run from January 21-February 15 under the direction of Don Stephenson.

The company will be led by Mark Nelson (Vanya), Tony winner Michele Pawk (Sonia), Carolyn McCormick (Masha), and Philippe Bowgen (Spike), with Gina Daniels (Cassandra) and Jamie Ann Romero (Nina). The creative team includes David Korins (scenic design), Leon Dobkowski (costume design), Stephen Terry (lighting design), Mark Bennett (original music and sound design), Leah J. Loukas (hair and wig design), and Amanda Stephens (scenic coordination).

A comic variation on Chekhovian themes, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike is about Vanya and his sister Sonia, who still live in their childhood home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. When their glamorous movie-star sister, Masha, returns home with her new beau-hunk, Spike, their quotidian lives are thrown into disarray.

The Paper Mill production officially opens Sunday, January 25.
