Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon and music icon Frankie Valli are among the luminaries named to the New Jersey Hall of Fame. The performers are among the 15 inductees, who will be honored at a gala on May 2 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Sarandon appeared on Broadway last season in Exit the King. She won her Oscar for her performance in Dead Man Walking. Among her other film credits are Thelma and Louise, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Lorenzo’s Oil.

Valli, one of the original Four Seasons, is the subject of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys. His hit songs include “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

Other entertainers inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame this year include Jack Nicholson, and the late Count Basie and Les Paul.
