George Street Playhouse will present Mark St. Germain's The Best of Enemies, November 27-December 23. Julianne Boyd will direct the production, which was originally presented in 2011 at Barrington Stage Company.

The show, based on the novel of the same name by Osha Gray Davidson, is based on the real-life relationship between C.P. Ellis, a Grand Cyclops of the KKK, and Ann Atwater, an African-American civil rights activist, during the desegregation of the Durham, North Carolina schools in 1971.

The cast will include Aisha Hinds, John Bedford Lloyd, Don Guillory, and Susan Wands.

The design team will feature David M. Barber (set design), Kristina Lucka (costume design), Scott Pinkney (lighting design), and (sound design).
