Liz Callaway, Marilyn Maye, et al. Set for McCarter Theatre’s Cabaret Series

The McCarter Theatre’s 2010-2011 cabaret series will kick off with Marilyn Maye paying tribute to renowned lyricist Johnny Mercer, on Saturday, October 23 at 7:30pm.

She will sing songs such as “Moon River,” “One for My Baby (and One More for the Road),” and “That Old Black Magic.” Maye has received many awards in recognition of her work, including the 2008 and 2009 New York Nightlife Critics Award, and the 2008 Backstage Bistro Lifetime Achievement Award.

The cabaret series will continue with Liz Callaway on December 18; Eric Michael Gillett on March 12; and Max Raabe & Palast Orchester on April 19.
