Lisa Harrow, Sherman Howard, Tom Pelphrey, et al. Set for Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Lion in Winter

Full casting and creative team has been announced for the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s production of James Goldman’s The Lion in Winter, to run October 20-November 14. Paul Mullins will direct the production.

Set in the year 1183, the work settles on the lives of the Plantagenet family. It debuted on Broadway in 1966.

The cast will feature Lisa Harrow (Eleanor of Aquitaine), Sherman Howard (King Henry II), Tom Pelphrey (Richard Lionheart), Devin Norik (Geoffrey), Colby Chambers (John), Sean Hudlock (Phillip), and Laura Campbell (Alais).


The creative team includes Michael Schweikardt (sets), Hugh Hanson (costumes), Michael Giannatti (lighting), and Rich Dionne (sound).
