Tovah Feldshuh to Star in Golda’s Balcony at NJ’s State Theatre

Tovah Feldshuh will recreate her award-winning performance as Golda Meir in William Gibson’ s Golda’s Balcony at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey at 3pm and 8:30pm on Saturday, November 15.

The solo play — a portrait of Meir, the Milwaukee schoolteacher who became Prime Minister of Israel in 1969 — has previously been seen on Broadway, in San Francisco, and London.

Feldshuh is currently performing in the hit Off-Broadway play Irena’s Vow, and is a four-time Tony Award nominee for her work in Golda’s Balcony, Lend Me a Tenor, Yentl, and Sarava. She also appeared on Broadway in Cyrano and in the revue Rodgers & Hart. Her film and television credits include Kissing Jessica Stein, Law & Order, and Holocaust.
