Robert Cucciolli and David Schramm will head the cast of George Street Playhouse’s New Jersey premiere of Conor McPherson’s The Seafarer, to run November 18-December 14, with an opening set for November 21. Anders Cato will direct.

In the play, a group of friends gather on Christmas Eve for what seems to be a simple game of poker, until a mysterious stranger joins the game and raises the stakes damningly high.

The cast will also include David Adkins, Matthew Boston, and William Hill. The creative team will include scenic designer R. Michael Miller, lighting designer Howell Binkley, costume designer Jennifer Moller, sound designer Christopher J. Bailey, and composer Scott Killian.

Cuccioli received a Tony Award nomination for Jekyll & Hyde. His other New York credits include Les Miserables, Jacques Brel…, And the World Goes ‘Round, and The Rothschilds. Schramm is well known as Roy Biggins on NBC’s Wings. Broadway credits include Bedroom Farce, Tartuffe, and London Assurance.
