Elisa Winter to Join Malcolm Gets, Donna McKechnie, et al. in McCarter’s Ten Cents a Dance

Elisa Winter will join the cast of John Doyle’s Ten Cents A Dance: The Music of Rodgers and Hart for the new musical’s engagement at the McCarter Theatre, September 16-October 9. The work is a co-production with Williamstown Theatre Festival where it recently completed a successful run.
She replaces Lauren Molina, who performed in the Williamstown production. The cast will continue to feature Diana DiMarzio, Malcolm Gets, Donna McKechnie, Jane Pfitsch, and Jessica Tyler Wright.
In Ten Cents A Dance, crooner Johnny wistfully recalls his lifelong love affair of chorus girl Miss Jones, who is embodied by five women, each portraying a different stage of her life. The show features such songs as “Manhattan,” , “Blue Moon,” ,”Falling in Love with Love,” , “Isn’t it Romantic?” and “The Lady is a Tramp.”
