Peak Performances @ Montclair has announced its 2010-2011 season.

The theater offerings for the coming year will include The Builders Association’s Obie Award-winning Jet Lag (September 23 – October 3), which explores the uses and abuses of technology in telling the stories of a sailor who tricked the world into believing he’d sailed around the globe and of a grandmother who died of jet lag by taking daily flights back and forth from New York to Amsterdam.

The season will also include Belgian auteur Jan Fabre’s Prometheus-Landscape II (January 20-30), which is based on Aeschylus’ tragedy; and Robert Whitman’s investigation of being in two places at onece, Passport (April 16-17), which will be performed in two locations simultaneously: on the Montclair Campus and at the Beacon Art Center in Beacon NY.

Programming will also include dance offerings from Carolyn Carlson, Crystal Pite, Robyn Orlin, and Liz Lerman; and musical performances by Christopher Janney, Carter Bey, and the Shangahi Quartet, among others.
