Sean Mahan, Anthony Marble, Nisi Sturgis, et al. Set for Arms and the Man

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey has announced casting for George Bernard Shaw’s Arms and the Man, to run July 7-August 1. Joe Discher will direct the production.

The play focuses on the romance that blossoms after a war-weary soldier seeks refuge from battle in the home of a wealthy family.

The company will feature Nisi Sturgis (Raina), Sean Mahan (Bluntschli), Anthony Marble (Sergius), Bill Christ (Major Petkoff), Anne-Marie Cusson (Catherine), Ames Adamson (Nicola), Helen Farmer (Louka), and Jason Edward Bobb (Russian Officer).

The creative team will include Charles Calvert (scenic design), Matthew Adelson (lighting design), and Emily Pepper (costume design).
