Andrew Call, Meredith Patterson, et al. Set for Surflight Theatre’s Grease

Broadway veterans Meredith Patterson and Andrew Call will star as Sandy and Danny in Surflight Theatre’s production of Grease, to run June 22 – July 15. Jen Bender will direct.

The musical features a book and score by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, and centers on the Rydell High gang — Sandy, Danny, The Pink Ladies and The T-Birds. This production will feature the show’s classic tunes such as “We Go Together,” “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightning,” “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” “Beauty School Dropout” and “There Are Worse Things I Could Do,” as well as songs from the hit motion picture: “You’re The One That I Want,” “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” “Sandy,” and the title song “Grease!”

The cast will also include Marc Summers (Vince Fontaine), Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Rizzo), Dustin Brayley (Kenickie), Deon Oliverio (Doody), Anthony Ramos Martinez (Sonny), Chelsea Lovett (Marty), Tim Ehrlich (Roger), Shayla Benoit (Jan), Samia Mounts (Frenchy), Jeremy Gaston (Teen Angel/Johnny Casino), Dana Maddox (Cha-Cha), Carla Stewart (Miss Lynch), Erica Wasko (Patty Simcox), and Drew Gasparini (Eugene).

The production will feature choreography by Shea Sullivan, music direction by Jeremy Randall, scenic design by Charlie Smith, costume design by Jody Madaras, lighting design by Marciel Green, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
