Linda Eder, Jill Eichenberry, Marvin Hamlisch, Joan Rivers, Michael Tucker, et al. Set for NJ’s Community Theatre

The Community Theatre at Mayo Center for the Performing Arts, in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced its programming for the 2009-2010 season.

Among the highlights are a 15th anniversary celebration concert performed by Linda Eder (October 2), an evening with Joan Rivers (October 23), married stars Jill Eichenberrry and Michael Tucker performing Love Letters (February 14), and composer Marvin Hamlisch (April 18).

Theater-related shows also include Defending the Caveman (October 16), The Capitol Steps (December 3), Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway (January 15), Hairspray (January 21), The Little Mermaid (February 28), Alice in Wonderland (March 14), The Pirates of Penzance (March 26), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (April 16), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (April 25), Cabaret (April 30), Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance (May 8), Dan Zane and Friends (May 23), and Max and Ruby (June 6).

The season will also include artists such as Aimee Mann, Randy Travis, Chris Isaak, Blondie, Billy Ray Cyrus, B.B. King, Indigo Girls, Darius Rucker, Tony Bennett, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Air Supply, Dave Koz, Neil Sedaka, and Patti LaBelle.
