John Davidson to Star in Surflight’s Chicago and Will Rogers Follies

Stage and screen star John Davidson will play Billy Flynn in Chicago and Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies at the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven, New Jersey this summer.

Chicago, which runs July 1-20, will also feature Davidson’s daughter Ashleigh as Roxie Hart and Susie Spiedel as Mama Morton, while The Will Rogers Follies, which co-stars Margaret Shafer, will run August 12-30. Davidson’s New York stage credits include Foxy, Oklahoma!, and State Fair.

Surflight’s season also includes its current production of The Producers (through June 29) starring Robert Lydiard as Max Bialystock, and Shaun Parry in All Shook Up (July 22-August 10).
