George Street Playhouse's previously announced production of An Intimate Evening with Marlo Thomas has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict. The event, which was planned for June 2 at 8pm, will be rescheduled for fall 2012.

During the evening, Thomas will reminisce about her life and career as well as share her unique take on everyday life and current events. The event will benefit the Playhouse's mainstage and educational programming.

Marlo Thomas has worked on Broadway in The Shadow Box, Social Security, Thieves, and Relatively Speaking. She has appeared in more than a dozen television movies, including Nobody's Child, for which she won the Emmy for Best Dramatic Actress, and she has made numerous TV guest appearances including on Ugly Betty, Friends, and Law & Order.
