Nikkieli DeMone, Patrice Covington, Christian Dante White, et al. Set for Revision Theatre’s Dreamgirls Benefit

ReVision Theatre has announced casting for its one-night-only performance of Dreamgirls, to be offered on May 14 at The Paramount Theatre. Jamibeth Margolis will direct the performance, which will raise money for the theater’s ongoing work and will have choreography by Kenny Ingram and musical direction by Michael Thomas Murray.

The show, with music by Henry Krieger and book and lyrics by Tom Eyen, charts the journey of a young female singing trio from their amateur days to their acclaim as international stars.

The company will feature Nikkieli DeMone, Patrice Covington, Christian Dante White, Bernard Dotson, Curtis Wiley, Wendy Fox, Tony Perry, Dominique Sharpton, Briana Davis, Sean Watkins, Thaddeus McCants, Ruperta Nelson, Faren Brook Collins, Michael Dexter, Nikki Jenkins, Jason Veasey, Lauren Lebowitz, Clyde Voce, Haley Swindal, Shira Elias, Brandon Hightower, and Spiro Galiatsatos.

The creative team will include Clifton Chadick (scenic design), Robin Shane (costume design), Jake Degroot (lighting design), and Karoline Budna (sound design).
