Avi Hoffman, Vladimir Zaitsev, et al. Set for Bickford Theatre’s 2011-2012 Season

The Bickford Theatre in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced its programming for the 2011-2012 season, which will include a concert series featuring piano virtuoso Vladimir Zaitsev in Bach to Beatles (March 4); popular PBS star Avi Hoffman in Still Jewish After All These Years (March 11); and Italian Giants and American Icons, an afternoon of opera and popular song, presented by the Bravo Alliance for the performing Arts (March 18).

The theater’s Main Stage series will include the New Jersey premiere of Richard Dresser’s comedy, The Last Days of Mickey & Jean, directed by John Pietrowski (September 22-October 9); Joe DiPietro’s comedy Over the River and Through the Woods, directed by Eric Hafen (November 17-December 4); Ira Levin’s Veronica’s Room, directed by Daniel LaPenta (January 26-February 12); and the Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical I Do! I Do!, directed by Eric Hafen, with musical direction by Warren Helms (April 12-May 13).
