Two River Theater Company Announces 2010-2011 Season

Two River Theater Company has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will begin with Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel (September 21-October 10), a portrait of a fiercely independent African-American woman at the beginning of the last century.

Also on the theater’s schedule is Michael Hollinger’s intimate look at a string quartet, Opus (October 26 – November 14), Herb Gardner’s classic story about a non-conformist uncle and his nephew, A Thousand Clowns (February 1-20), and George Bernard Shaw’s Candida (March 22 – April 10). The theater’s final production for the year will be a revival of the revue Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (May 17 – June 5).

The theater’s programming will be rounded out with a holidaytime staging of Joseph Robinette’s adaptation of E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web (December 7 – January 2), to be directed by Matt Pfeiffer and featuring puppet design by Aaron Cromie.
