The Paper Mill Playhouse invited press on Wednesday, March 31 to New World Stages for a sneak peek at their upcoming production of Smokey Joe’s Cafe, which will run April 7-May 2.
The musical revue celebrates the songs of Leiber and Stoller, such as “Hound Dog”, “Stand by Me”, and “On Broadway.”
The company features Jackie Burns, E. Clayton Cornelius, Bernard Dotson, Felicia Finley, Carly Hughes, Andrew Rannells, Devin Richards, Eric LaJuan Summers, Dennis Stowe, and Maia Nkenge Wilson
The creative team includes Denis Jones (choreographer), Jonathan Spencer (scenic designer), Brian Hemesath (costumes), Charlie Morrison (lighting), Randy Hansen (sound), and Tom Helm (musical director).
