Full casting has been announced for the world premiere of Arthur Laurents’ New Year’s Eve, to play the George Street Playhouse, April 14-May 10, with an opening night set for April 17. David Saint will direct.

The comedy centers on a smart, funny star who feels everything is turning into a bad joke on her. As previously announced, the show will star Academy Award winner Keith Carradine and Marlo Thomas.

The cast will also include Walter Belensky, Peter Frechette, and Natasha Gregson Wagner. The creative team will include scenic designer James Youmans, costume designer Suzy Benzinger, and sound designer Christopher J. Bailey.

Carradine received a Tony Award nomination for The Will Rogers Follies. His additional Broadway credits include Hair, Foxfire and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He won an Academy Award for his song “I’m Easy” from the film Nashville, in which he also performed. He most recently appeared Off-Broadway in Mindgame.

Thomas has starred on Broadway in Thieves, The Shadow Box, and Social Security. She is well known for her starring role on the television series That Girl, for which she earned a Golden Globe Award and four Emmy Award nominations.
