Amanda Dehnert, David Staller to Direct for Two River Theater

Two River Theater Company has announced directors for its final two shows of the company’s current season.

Project Shaw founder David Staller will helm George Bernard Shaw’s popular comedy Candida, March 22-April 10. In the play, the title character is married to an eloquent and spirited preacher. But when she brings home a fervent young poet who falls in love with her, a battle ensues to secure her heart.

Amanda Dehnert will direct the musical revue Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, May 17-June 5. The piece features conception, English lyrics, and additional material by Eric Blau and Mort Shuman, based on lyrics and commentary by Jacques Brel.
