Full casting has been announced for Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed, the spotlight production in the McCarter Theatre Center’s third annual In-Festival, a celebration of new works. Liesl Tommy will direct the production, which will run January 26-February 8, with an opening on January 31.

The play is about five Liberian women emotionally and geographically displaced by the trauma of civil war. Gurira won an Obie for co-writing and performing In the Continuum with Nikkole Salter.

The cast will include Pascale Armand, Nikiya Mathis, Keiana Richàrd, Stacey Sargeant, and April Yvette Thompson.

As previously announced, the In-Festival will kick off on January 26 with Wild Nights! Two One-Act Plays by Joyce Carol Oates, and will also include In Their Own Voices on February 2, an evening of award-winning writers and composers reading and performing excerpts from their own works-in-progress.
