WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Yale Repertory Theatre presents William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, directed by Kenneth Albers. The production features original music composed and arranged by John Tanner.
The merchant Antipholus and his servant Dromio have come to the fair city of Ephesus for the first time, but everyone here seems to know them by name. A woebegone woman even insists Antipholus is her husband, and she wants him home for supper now! What have the boys from Syracuse gotten themselves into? Are the citizens of Ephesus seeing double? And what does the mysterious abbess know about all this? To find out, join us for Shakespeare's breezy comedy of mistaken identities and merry misunderstandings.
