Continuing our efforts to launch all deserving local talent into the musical stratosphere, we welcome singer/songwriter and guitarist Mark Pires to StageOne with his trio, his 100+ original songs and his contagious energetic persona. Sporting a solid John Mayer-esque pop knowhow, a knack for Christopher Walken, Owen Wilson and Richard Dreyfuss impressions and some strikingly speedy acoustic guitar licks, this entertainer brings to the stage many things we hold dear; artful pop musicianship, lively humor and absolute originality. This show will also feature his looping-heavy one-man band. Come check him out and you'll be able and proud to say you "saw him when..."
