George Winston, pianist is best known for his "melodic rural folk style." He has found much inspiration in the pianists of New Orleans and is now working to raise money to benefit those who suffered from the hurricanes. He is going to donate all of his royalties from his new album Gulf Coast Blues & Impressions - A Hurricane Relief Benefit to hurricane relief organizations. His new album has been receiving great reviews and Tom Jurek from All Music Guide said anyone who has ever been interested in his music should own this album.
