Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, the timeless musical tells the story of Tevye, a man wrestling with the new customs of a younger generation. When his daughters choose suitors who defy his idea of a proper match, Tevye comes to understand, through a series of comedic and bittersweet incidents, that he must let go of the past and move forward, as his children begin new traditions of their own.
