A musical rendition of Paula Danziger's best-selling series, Amber Brown is not a Crayon is a funny and poignant tale for anyone whose childhood best friend moved away. Amber Brown is one sad, gloomy, down in the dumps third-grader. She and Justin are the perfect team; they always laugh at each other's jokes, sit next to each other in class, but now Justin's family is moving to Alabama and that's way too far away to even think about! And worse, Amber is going to have to face the horrors of third grade alone! Is there a happy ending in sight? Is Amber destined for the worst year ever? Theatre sans Fil brings to life the Grimm brothers' celebrated tale of Hansel and Gretel. Lost in the forest, Hansel and Gretel discover a mouth-watering gingerbread house. While the hungry children voraciously gobble up the iced shingles and gumdrop eaves, the evil witch, Rosina Dainty Mouth, casts a terrible spell on the children transforming them into gingerbread men. But beware! Gretel and her brother are far wiser than the evil witch could ever imagine. Told through beautiful giant puppets in glorious color and breath-taking classical music, Hansel and Gretel thrills both children and witches alike!
