Tony Award winner Brian Dennehy will star in Samuel Beckett’s solo play, Krapp’s Last Tape, to be presented on Stage II at Long Wharf Theatre, November 29-December 18.

In the twilight of his life, Krapp — alone now except for his memories — relives the moment years before when he glimpsed a chance at happiness. Jennifer Tarver directs the production, which has had runs at the Shakespeare Festival Theater in Ontario and the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.

Dennehy won Tony Awards for Long Day’s Journey Into Night and Death of a Salesman. He last appeared at Long Wharf Theatre in the critically acclaimed 2008 production of Hughie.
