Long Wharf Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Team for Ain’t Misbehavin’

Long Wharf Theatre has announced casting for Aint’ Misbehavin’, to run October 26 – November 20. Richard Maltby, Jr., who originally directed the revue, which he conceived on Broadway, will helm the production, which will have musical staging/choreography by Arthur Faria and musical direction by Phillip Hall.

This show brings to life the world of jazz great Fats Waller through songs like “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Honeysuckle Rose,” “The Joint is Jumpin’,” “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter,” and many other hits. The company will feature Eugene Barry-Hill (Andre), Doug Eskew (Ken), Kecia Lewis-Evans (Nell), Cynthia Thomas (Armelia), and Deb Walton (Charlayne).


The creative team will include John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Gail Baldoni (costume design), and Pat Collins (lighting design).
