RE:Disney on Ice: High School Musical
The opening night in Vegas was not a full house. The first 10 minutes thankfully wasnt a prelude to the rest of the show. They desperately tried to get the audience to put action to song. It was enjoyed by only a few - mostly children. After the painful start, the show was great. There was a lot of talent on the ice rink. We have not seen the movie yet it was easy to follow the story line. Now for the other drama that happens in the crowd.... A note to parents..... talk to your children about appropriate behavior. The only downfall of the show were the surrounding children whose parents didnt intercede when necessary or remove a child who obviously didnt like or understand the show. This show attracts a different age child - not interesting for the young ones. Oh - one more thing. Wrapper crunching, slurping drinks was also a distraction. Movie ettiquete should apply to this show as well. Other than that, it was a great time with talented actors.
