WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
On a scale of 1 to 10, Adam is about a 4, and he?s okay with that. An average student at an average Midwestern college. Maybe a little chunky, but who isn?t? A little nerdy perhaps, but glasses are expensive and masking tape is cheap! Hey, don?t knock the corduroy jacket; it gets laundered (occasionally). His is a good life -- safe, routine, middle-of-the-road -- until Evelyn, an aggressive MFA student, walks into it. Faster than you can say ?Henry Higgins,? Adam is transformed into a 10. But what?s the price of perfection? Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things is directed by Stephen DiMenna.
There is a special Monday performance on Monday, February 24 at 8:00 p.m.

LaBute and director Stephen DiMenna succeeded in unnerving me and many in the audience by pitting truth against fiction while exploring the role of artistic representation and exploitation in everyday life. Big words for a simple, yet sadly intriguing story.
