Penumbra Theatre Announces 2010-2011 Season

Penumbra Theatre company has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will begin with Adam P. Kennedy and Adrienne Kennedy's Sleep Deprivation Chamber. Directed by Robbie McCauley, the production will run September 16 - October 10.

Over the holidays, the theater will present T. Mychael Rambo and Lou Bellamy's Black Nativity: Now's the Time (November 26 - December 26), directed by Dominic Taylor. Bellamy will stage the three plays that Penumbra will produce in early 2011, including Kara Lee Corthron's Julius by Design (January 20 - February 13), August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (February 11 - March 6), and Taylor's I Wish You Love (April 21 - May 22).
