It's been two years since Chana has seen her twelve children. A divorce decree gave custody of them to her husband, and she has not been allowed even a visit. Now, a legal determination has been made that she may see them, but when she arrives at their home, relatives deny her this right. Chana has no choice but to reveal the secrets of her marriage. Based upon a true story of domestic abuse in an ultra-religious Israeli community, Women's Minyan was originally commissioned by Habima, Israel's National Theatre, and became the longest-running play ever to be presented there.
