WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Just as he did with A Midsummer Night's Dream, Joe Dowling serves up a delightful Shakespearean comedy in an unexpected new setting. This time, Twelfth Night is transported to the last days of the Roaring '20s. Meet Viola (dressed as her twin lost-at-sea brother) as she copes with unwanted female advances, her own unrequited love and a host of mistaken identities 'midst the glitter of Tinseltown. Sympathize with the straight-laced (and lovestruck) valet Malvolio. Succumb to the silliness of Shakespeare's hilarious gaggle of vaudevillian buffoons, Toby Belch, Andrew Aguecheek and Feste.
